Small things in a normal day

The other day I was out all day working and hanging out with friends. During the day I stumbled across a few cool things I felt was blog worthy.

First was the leaves of fall visible from the lunch room at work.

Second was at Town Square where people were building stuff out of all white Lego bricks.

And lastly when I got home at night I saw this artsy installation on the water next to my dorm.

Shooting the moon

This post is another photo-showcase.
After getting my new camera I've been enjoying experimenting with catching sunsets and night time photos, which remains my favorite subjects to shoot.
Hope you like them as much as I do.

Australia
These pictures are the more experimenting ones I took while in Australia.

Evening flight from Cairns to Sydney

Sydney Harbour

Playing with macro-functionality in the rainforest

Evening sky in Sydney from a moving car

Nighttime photo safari in Copenhagen.
On the evening of the Oscars I had some time to kill and decided to go shoot some of the nighttime views of Copenhagen. I had fun but ended up with the flu! This night I was especially playing around with depth perception and focus.

Town square and Town hall.

Town square and one of the neon signs.

Jarmers Plads

There was something eerie, yet drawing about this scene.

Light/Dark
As some might have noticed I especially enjoy dusk and dawn for shooting. It's especially interesting to catch the first and last beams of light during the day.

Sunrise from Kilen (the wedge).

Sunset over Copenhagen as seen from Tietgenkollegiet.

Moonlight over DR-byen.

Sunset playing in an airplane window.
