First days and jetlag
So after a couple of days here's the follow-up post as promised the other day.
I'm still suffering from jetlag and spent my third day just sleeping.
Second day I met up with the other Danish girl from CBS. We managed to go buy ourselves some new phones.
Originally I had hoped for a brand spanking new-ultra cool-does everything-Turbo 3G-Super phone, but seeing as you had to sign up for a two year contract I chose to go with the cheapest (but still pretty cool) phone and plan. It's a samsung (my first) 708SC that really doesn't do all that much except for calls, sms, email, internet and document reader (word, excel, and pdf).
We bought the phones in the fashionable Shibuya district, which is were you'll find all the teenagers.
Here's a couple of photos from the area.

As you can see from the last one it gets dark pretty early in Tokyo, as it was taken at 18:00
Today I went for the introduction at Mita Campus which is were I'll go for classes too. It was rather different from what I had imagined. The campus was small, in the middle of town and half the buildings looked like they were to be demolished soon.
Now I'm going to see if I can figure out where the nearest supermarket is located... a very useful thing to know.
I'll update you again soon.

Ohaio-gozaimas, Esben-san! Welcome to Nippon! Wanatawa eigoga-wakarimas? - den sætning skal du nok lægge direkte ind i dit vokabular fra start af... ;-)
Glæder mig til at læse mere - du er pt. ved at udforske en af mine yndlings-lande, som jeg desværre (endnu!) ikke har besøgt! I would KILL to be where you are... :-)
Godt at se at der i hvert fald er nogen der læser med :)
Og bare rolig, der skal nok komme mange flere updates
