Christmas, new years and general laziness

So Christmas is over and tomorrow is new years eve.
I've had a couple of weeks away from studying but haven't managed to catch up with any of my readings in the meantime... unfortunately!

I'm gonna spend new years at a friends place in Malmö, Sweden.
It probably won't be anywhere near as cool as spending it in New York City as I did last year, but what the heck it's better than just sitting at home doing nothing :)

Yesterday me and a couple of friends went out. We started out at a quiet place drinking some beers and moved on to Rosie McGees (which is rather well known in Denmark). I've never actually been inside before and boy let me tell you I wasn't impressed. It wasn't that bad, but nowhere near as great as it could have been either.
I did manage to dance with a friend from the case competition though to some samba rhythms, which was pretty awesome.

Today I woke up around 1pm and didn't feel bad about it for once. I've been sitting in the couch most of the day after finally getting up, though my roommate and me did go for a walk passing through Tivoli gardens which were open for the last day today before summer. They still had lights and small sweetshops so the air was thick with almonds, spices and sugar. It rather reminded me of Disneyland.
