Moving around
So I know it's been a while since my last post.
I've been keeping real busy...
As I posted a while back I've joined the CBS case competition organizing committee as head of PR & Marketing, which is a real challenge as I'm not really the born leader. But so far I think I've managed pretty well and it's been very interesting to wrestle with the more practical part of what I'll probably end up working with.
At the moment we're working on making a theme poster for the '07 competition. I've tried all sorts of "mind games" to get my mind to think more creatively (picture wise) so as to come up with a visual representation of this years "theme". In this process I've started collecting images and other stuff that can inspire me to think about the theme. The following picture is an example of such a photo taken at a friends place.

But as you can probably guess the case competition work hasn't been the only thing going on in my life.
I've applied for another exchange on the third semester of my graduate program, which will be from September 2007 - January 2008 (If I get to go that is). I've applied for Australia and Japan. While thinking about where to go many things have gone into the equation and after seeing Lost in Translation I'll admit that I had my doubts about Japan, but as I've always wanted to go I decided I'd give it a chance.
Talking about traveling. Antoine (my French friend) invited me to his wedding in January, so I'll be taking a long weekend in Paris from 27-30 January. Now my only problem is finding a suitable outfit (after all he is the son of a Baron so I need to dress decent).
But this small trip won't be before I've moved out of my room. That's right... little me is moving away from the fashionable Nansensgade to Amager (you need to be Danish to get why that sucks). I've gotten a room at a residence hall. It's an entirely new place which has been designed by the same people that made my workplace. It's in a really nice location just across from KUA (Copenhagen University Amager) and ITU (IT-University) and about 5 minutes from the nearest metro station.
The other day me and my current roommate went and inspected the local. I was allowed in and were able to see the room I'll be living in when I move 10 January.
Below you'll see two photos of the room.

So that's a short peek into what I've been doing lately. I'll try to get back again soon.
Happy holidays
