Realizing your potential and your limits

At the moment I'm doing my best to get started on my bachelor thesis. I still have another 6 1/2 weeks to finish it, but I still haven't done nowhere near enough.

To overcome this - or maybe to put it out a bit more - I'm reading an interesting book called The imagineering workout. It's made me realize a thing or two. Mostly stuff I already know but don't really think about in my everyday life.

One example is the realization that this blog - how interesting and brilliant I might find it myself - probably never will get that huge a reader base as I had originally imagined. That led to two different options: I could either view it negatively and think that it sucks, and that no one really cares, or I could view it in a more positive light and say that it is just undiscovered potential lying dormant within me that has to be put in words which will get me my reader base. So for that reason I've made a choice(sounds more serious than it actually is) to blog more and sharpen my writing style a bit. Furthermore I'll try to discuss an even wider array of topics than I already do.

Another thing I've realized is that I should be more adventurous. I already am, but not in everyday life. I'm dreaming of the great adventure or something similar. I need to try out more stuff in everyday life. This means that I'll try to adopt my favorite quote from The imagineering workout to my everyday life:

"The most unrealistic options inspire tangent ideas that take you to new places you would never have considered."

So whether or not I'll be successful in adopting it only time will tell...but don't worry; I'll keep you updated.
